A recap of this year's AIA National Convention in Chicago --
Our two co-founders, Denis Henmi and Sylvia Kwan, and marketing coordinator Elaine Chan attended the conference. Denis was the head of programs this year and created exciting events throughout the three days. Elaine gave a 90-minute presentation debriefing the AIA CAE Conference with her fellow panelists, Bob Moje, Steve Shiver, Stuart Pettitt, Kerry Leonard, James LaPosta Jr., and Ann Neeriemer. Educational objectives included learning about the rich history and evolution of educational facility design in the Catalonia region, understanding the funding mechanisms for public, private and public/private partnerships with respect to educational facility design and construction funding in Catalonia.
